Punt!

Are journals and diaries outdated by now? hmm..it seems quite so for techno-servy pple.. cos there's sthg called a BLOG now.. and everyone is using it..maybe not endangered eh? diaries come in useful when you want to vent your anger and don't know how to on the blog cos pple are sure to punch your face from the com screen once they read your crap. all it takes is a silly comment and you are ignored for days and don't know why. not tt it has ever happened to me..but can imagine with my imaginative mind wandering all the time to funny stuff. i so miss nepal and all its beauty.. just watched the geog lessons we made..lame but it shows tt cip trips can be uber fun if u put ur heart and soul in it. yup. tmr is sch.. yay! ..yay..

money's worth

yesterday was so exhausting..went to cash converters(never go there!) and waited for 1 and a 1/2 hours with my dad, rollerblades and sims com. cds..argh..so unprofessional..the way they assess stuff.give only 2 bucks for cds and 5 bucks for rollerblades..i felt so sad after tt..my dad too..alright..next time my expectations shld be lower..esp when the others bring all sorts of junk into the buys room..like wooden ducks from crown restaurant, very super duper old computers like pentium 1 from my assessment, broken containers, fish tanks, vacuum cleaners, old and used handbags..and the surprising thing and irony of it all was that their stuff were worth more than mine and they got more profit than me! ha..hilarious. Today, as usual, is a dread day for aa3. must climb 6 storeys on the first lesson, 2 periods of econs and chinese..argh.. tmr is a better day..

blinded with fascination

yesterday was 'movie under the stars 1' very peaceful and therapeutic atmosphere..the sky was clear navy blue, dotted with bright twinkling stars everywhere, including the orion and big dipper. tt was how clear it was. after ice age, my og laid down on the bball court gazing at the stars for quite awhile, before the rest got really hyper and started cheering, then we actually danced the orientation boogie and superstar dance again! (courtesy of the j2 counsillors) then we ended everything with a friendship dance, j1s and j2s combined..pretty good bonding session i think.. imagine is the whole ac was present..tmr going for cip at raffles city..hope it'll be good..

Tin-donations

JC life is getting more exciting by the day..hehe.though orientation is the thing of the past, and lectures has been my everyday routine, not to forget tutorials which wld start next week..really hope tt the tutors wld be able to clarify all my doubts...cos they come every second tt the teacher teaches. I seem to notice tt the J1s in ac are rather enthusiastic abt CIP..which is totally the opp in crescent. We volunteer almost immediately for archealogical digging and just today, i went out with a few of my og mates to ask for donations in tins.. even assisting in the dance masters competition in YMCA was totally booked.. my goodness.. Oh..i realised just today, how difficult it is to maintain your good reputation and at the same time ask pple for their donations.. i really felt like a stupid idiot (unfortunately) changing the way/language i use to ask pple to donate (frm mandarin to english, frm auntie to uncle, frm mam to sir) my.. after awhile, i had to keep changing venues to avoid pple hanging ard there frm thinking i'm a tape recorder.. pple are also donating to the tsunami victims through mercy relief, which sent out quite a few pple too..so it was sure tough convincing the public tt the old folks need help as much too..sigh.. at least 4 hrs of cip is chalked up..gave the 30 bucks leftover frm Lhachea fund to this s'pore poly guy volunteering for mercy relief tsunami fund. He was elated, but not before i gave him the $.. was quite rude at first..looking forward to monday..yay! tutorials...

End of Times

From this recent tsunami catastrophe and other events like sept 11 and SARS, we get a quite clear implication that the Second Coming is near, but not in my knowledge or any other white, black, yellow head out there, when will it come. For those who are atheists, or anyone else curious of what i'm talking about, though you don't really believe that there's a Creator out there, it's quite obvious that something is going on, and it's not some Mother of Nature who is pulling onto the strings of the world from neverland, neither is it that the disasters just happen by themselves. For christians like me, may you be enriched and encouraged by this blog post, where i'm going to pull out some Bible verses which have predictions fulfilled in this recent times, showing that the Bible is authentic and true to the very end and nothing can fault it as every prediction is it is being and will be fulfilled. Let's start with something from my favourite book called 'God's Promises and Answers for your life' :
And Jesus answered and said to them: "Take heed that no one deceives you. "For many will come in my Name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and will deceive many. "And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not troubled; for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet. " For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. "All these things are the beginning of sorrows."
Matthew 24: 4-8
I shall refrain from highlighting anything because everything written in the Bible is impt, but i guess from now, you must have highlighted in your own mind what i'm trying to imply. Let's have another verse which i shared during watchnight service yesterday:
"I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things."
Isaiah 45:7
Well, will leave you with just 2 parts of the Bible first. Think through carefully of what i've typed, cos' it's more than just people dying, as i have mentioned in the tripod blog. Those who are curious to know more, wait up for more insights next time into the precious Word which i faithfully trust in.
