The Unmerciful Killer
From the eye of danger
Came the waves of trouble
Sweeping past boats unnoticed
Silent as a killer
Gathering speed tremendous
Scores of waters rise
Screams of children heard
Immediately people die
Sunday, not bloody sunday
Tsunamis hit part of the earth
Physically, yes, of course
But hearts and minds unnerved
The damage seen daily, immuned?
Not, yes, maybe
Loved ones lost, others drowned
Some deep under rocks and bricks bound
Warm hearts are kindled
News broadcast helplines
Food is gathered, clothes are bundled
Hope of victims shine
Helpless, Sunny Island, helpless as can be
Don't just sit there, watching your tv
Grab your clothes, cans of food,
Anything good to help the poor and needy.
In tribute of the Tsunami victims, both dead and alive
